CLINTON, IA – March 27, 2026 – The Clinton Community School District and the Northeast Community School District are pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer “Jenny” Hansen as the Shared Director of Human Resources. Hansen, an experienced educator and administrator with over 20 years of expertise in the K-12 setting, will lead personnel operations, employee relations, and organizational development for both districts.
Hansen currently serves as an At-Risk Teacher at Northeast High School in Goose Lake, where she has been instrumental in coordinating intervention plans and fostering strong relationships between staff, students, and families. Her appointment marks a strategic collaboration between the two neighboring districts to streamline administrative functions while maintaining high-quality support for district employees.
“Jenny’s ‘people-first’ leadership style and her extensive background in both the Clinton and Northeast communities make her an exceptional fit for this shared role,” said Superintendent Dr. Wes Golden. “She brings a deep understanding of educational compliance and a proven record of building collaborative workplace cultures that will benefit our staff across both districts”.
Hansen’s professional history includes serving as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Prince of Peace Catholic School, where she managed staff evaluations, scheduling, and budget oversight. She also spent over a decade with the Clinton Community School District in various leadership capacities, including At-Risk Coordinator at Clinton Middle School and Teacher Leadership Coordinator at Clinton High School.

Hansen holds a Master of Arts in Administration and Leadership from Grand Canyon University
