The unofficial election results show many very close races in the area. Randy Meier was leading incumbent Tom Determann for House District 69 with a vote total of 5,956 to Determann’s 5,565 a difference of 391 votes. For senate District 35, Joe Stutting was leading incumbent Mike Zimmer 13,508 to Zimmer’s 12,521 a difference of 987 votes. In House District 70 incumbant Norlin Mommson was leading with 7,448 votes to Challenger George Pickup 7,020 a difference of 428 votes. The top 2 vote getters for County Supervisor were Steve Cundiff with 9,870 votes and Jim Irwin with 8,685. Charles Hunter missed out in his bid with 8,568 votes. Dustin Johnson was re elected as County Treasuer with 9,792 votes to challenger Joe Brown’s 8,389 votes. Scott Judd ran unopposed for County recorder and received 13,429 votes. The public Measure for Central DeWitt was defeated with 3,091 no votes to 1,317 yes votes.
