Local Unemployment Rate Increases

Local unemployment rates rose from the May to June according to the latest report from the Iowa Workforce Development Agency.

The report shows the June Clinton County unemployment rate rose from 2.8 percent in May to 3.3 percent in June.  That was lower than the 4.2 percent rate in June 2017.

In the city of Clinton the unemployment rate was 3.5 percent in June.  That was an increase from 3.1 percent in May.
