Tentative Schedule Of Governmental Meetings

The Clinton County Board, Clinton School Board and Clinton and Fulton City Councils.

The Clinton County Board will hear a presentation on the idea of the county assisting new residents to pay off student loans.  The Clinton City Council recently heard a presentation from Andy Sokolovich of the Clinton Regional Development Corporation.  He said the concept is for the city and the county to offer one dollar per day to help pay off a student loan.  He said that would make two dollars a day and if an employer wanted to join in that could be three dollars per day.

That is one topic on today’s County Board Agenda.  The Supervisors will meet at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.
