New Yorkers pay the most, North Dakotans pay the least

Iowans are paying slightly more for a live Christmas tree compared to most Americans. (link to full report included)

A Chamber of Commerce study found, nationwide, the average price for a real six-foot tree was just under $59. Iowa is ranked 25th on the list with the average tree priced at $60. According to the study, people in North Dakota are paying the least – about $33 on average, while New Yorkers are paying $90 on average for a Christmas tree.
