Clinton Police issued a short statement – noting they were called to 321 2nd Avenue North at 11:26 PM on July for a reports of shots fired at the residence. The statement continues that one person was struck by a bullet and transported to the hospital where they later died. That individual has been identified at 29 year old Saul DeVaughn Jackson.
The incident remains under investigation.
