Clinton County Administration Building Remains Closed to Public Following Storm

(county statement) –  Clinton County Board of Supervisors Chairman Dan Srp said the Clinton County Administration Building will continue to be closed most of this week due to a lack of power following Monday afternoon’s storm.
Officials are hopeful power will be restored to the building by the end of the week. Clinton County will make an announcement when the building is able to open again.
The Clinton County Courthouse and Law Center and the DeWitt Satellite Office are open for regular business.
The County Treasurer’s Office and County Recorder’s Office will be fully operational in the DeWitt Satellite Office starting Tuesday morning. Those offices will continue to operate through Friday in DeWitt. Residents are encouraged, when possible, to continue conducting business by mail or use the drop box at the Administration Building.
Residents can continue to call or email those offices and departments located in the Administration Building and staff will answer those inquiries as they are able.
County offices located in the County Administration Building include: Assessor’s Office, Auditor’s Office, Engineer’s Department, Mental Health and Community Assistance, Recorder’s Office, Treasurer’s Office, Human Resources and Veterans Affairs.
