Governmental Meetings This Week

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning session.  The Supervisors will meet at 9:15.  The session will be available on-line and you can check the agenda for access details.

The board will hear the weekly updated on the coronavirus local impacts plus a storm damage update.

The Supervisors will also be meeting Wednesday evening for a discussion with local officials on the Elvira wastewater system updates.

The Clinton School Board will be holding a Committee Of The Whole session on Monday evening. The board meets at 5:30 at the School’s Administration Center.

The Clinton City Council meets on Tuesday at 5 PM.  The session will be held at city hall with limited seating due to health restrictions for social distancing.  Remote participation is provided on the agenda.

The ‘final plat’ approval is among the items on the agenda.  The proposed housing development in the are of the Springdale Cemetery has drawn concern among some residents along the 9th Avenue North area as that now dead end street could be an access to the development.  The initial access would be off Springdale Drive.

During the Committee Of The Whole Session the council will review a proposed update and revision to the Animal Control Ordinance.

The Northeast School Board will be meeting on Wednesday. The session will be at 6 PM at the elementary school library.
