Tentative Schedule Of Governmental Meetings This Week

The Clinton County Board has the regular Monday morning session.  The session will be held at 9:15 at the Administration Building – but will be available on-line.

The Clinton School Board has a Committee Of The Whole Session this evening (Monday). The meeting is at 5:30 at the School District Administration Building.

Among the actions is a settlement with installer of some of the Eagle Heights Playground Project.

The Fulton City Council will be meeting on Monday evening.  The council will handle some business items and then meet in a discussion session and then move back to a business meeting for a closed session.  The Fulton City Council will meet in the closed session for personnel and then there is a proposal to appoint Daniel Clark as the Interim City Administrator.  Administrator Randy Balk earlier announced he would be retiring this year.

The Clinton City Council will be meeting in a special session on Tuesday afternoon at 5 o’clock.  The Council is meeting to approve a resolution to seek a grant to improve the intersection of Manufacturing Drive and South 19th Street.

The grant is part a Clean Air effort and the city cites the establishing the intersection as a round-a-bout it would meet the meet the goals of the improving air quality by reducing vehicle delay and emissions thru the intersection.

The city would commit any funds above the grant for the project.

The action is needed due a submission deadline before the next meeting.
