Chamber Ribbon Cutting At Renovated Complex

A ribbon cutting was held to dedicate the renovated Jurgenson Soccer Complex.

The multi-tiered facility was renovated into one large area with new fields that can be used in multiple outlines.

At the ceremony – Clinton Mayor Scott Maddasion called the new fields a benefit to the community—

The Mayor and City Administrator Matt Brooke praised the Parks and Recreation Department and Director Josh Eggers for their work on getting the new fields completed.

Parks Director Josh Eggers says the project was made possible thru the donation of the land by Reynold Jergonsen many years ago.  He also credited many others including former Director Gregg Obren who started the concept of the project.

Eggers complimented many city employees and others for their work on the project.  He noted the projected in 2017 and has been delayed thru heavy rains and droughts.

A grant from the Clinton County Development Association also help fund the project along with city funds.
