Camanche City Hall Will Be Opening To The Public

Camanche City Hall will be re-opening to the public – after being closed to the public for the health pandemic.

At this week’s city council meeting City Administrator Andrew Kida heard feedback on the idea from council members.

Kida says there’s been discussion internally about the idea and a some downward trends in coronavirus cases in the public.

Kida says they feel the need to provide that direct customer service to the public.

The Camanche City Administrator said there would not be a change to in-person council meetings.

Kida added the city services billing cycle is completed so there would be limited traffic at city hall so staff can get used to new procedures.

Kida says they will plan to open city hall to the public on Monday.

Kida says the staff at Camanche City Hall are comfortable with re-opening of city hall.

Citizens will be asked to wear a mask if they do come to city hall.
