Local Unemployment Rate Drops

Local unemployment rates declined from October to November with drops in number of people considered in the labor force and the number considered employed and a drop in the those considered unemployed.

The Iowa Workforce Development Agency reports the overall November unemployment rate in Clinton County was 3.9 percent.  The October rate was 4 percent.

In Clinton the unemployment also dropped from October’s 4.6 percent to 4.5 percent.
