Look Alike Weapon Brought To Bluff School

Clinton School Superintendent Gary DeLacy says an incident at the Bluff Elementary School involved a 5th grade who brought a look alike gun to school.

He told KROS NEWS the student did display the weapon. The school went on a modified lock-down until the situation could be determined.  DeLacy says the situation was taken seriously.

Delacy says the incident is under investigation and school board policies will be followed related the incident.

The Superintendent thanked the Clinton Police Department for their quick response.
