Tentative Schedule Of Governmental Meetings

There are several governmental bodies meeting this week including the Clinton County Board,  DeWitt City Council, Camanche City Council and Clinton City Council.

The Clinton County Board has the regular Monday morning business session.  The Supervisors meet at 9:15 with the meeting available on-line.

The DeWitt City Council meets Monday evening in a regular session.

The meeting is at 7 o’clock.  Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend via electronic means.

The Camanche City Council will meet on Tuesday in a regular session.  That 6 p-m session will be held electronically.

The Clinton City Council has a couple of sessions on Thursday afternoon.  At 2 o’clock the council will meet to consider a resolution to appoint Cody Seeley to fill a vacancy in the the 2nd Ward seat.  He was selected after interview four applicants last week. After that session the council will meet to learn more about a proposal for an expansion of the waste water treatment plant to handle the waste water from the A-D-M plant.  The company would pay for the expansion and operation of the needed extra capacity.   Link: Special COW Session 

The council also has tentatively set budget meeting for Thursday afternoon
