Local unemployment rates dropped in February

The figures from the Iowa Workforce Development Agency show the number of people considered in the workforce and employed were up from January.

The report showed the Clinton County unemployment in February at 5-point-six percent.  That was down from 5.9 in January.  A year ago the local unemployment rate was 4.2 percent.

In Clinton the unemployment rate dropped from 6.5 percent in January to 5.8 percent in February
