Use Of Fireworks Not Allowed In Clinton

Fireworks sales will open soon in Clinton – but Clinton Mayor Scott Maddasion wants to remind residents fireworks can not be used in the city.

Maddasion says the police will ticket those violating the law-if they find those in the act of violating the law.

The Clinton Mayor says since the state allows the sale and city has banned the use it does make it difficult to explain to people.

Maddasion urged people to be a good neighbor.

The Police will do their job-according to the mayor – if they can catch someone in the act or investigate to file a ticket.
