A special ceremony was held Thursday for promotions within the Clinton Police Department and a promotion and new firefighter for the Fire Department.
Mayor Scott Maddasion led the oaths for each of the offices.
- Police Department Promotion: Brett Schwandt – Sergeant
- Fire Department Promotion: Justin Sommers – Lieutenant
- Police Department Promotion: Shane Haskell – Corporal
- Fire Department Promotion: Nick Manders – Engineer
- Fire Department: Tory Sullivan – Firefighter
The city has started to hold the joint events to recognize the changes.
