Clinton Police were called to an incident that occurred at the U-S Bank parking lot yesterday afternoon.
Captain Tom Bohle explained that there was a domestic disturbance that happened to take place in the drive-thru at USBank, 405 South 3rd Street. Due to the fear that a person was trying to enter the vehicle at the drive-thru, it was reported to police as a robbery. It was reported as a robbery at a vehicle at the drive-up, not as a bank robbery.
There were no arrests and no one was injured.
Captain Bohle said the bank became involved because they observed it and did the right thing by reporting it
