Tentative Schedule Of Governmental Meetings This Week

The Clinton County Board has the regular Monday morning session.  Among the items for consideration is the request of Clinton County Sheriff Bill Greenwalt for additional personnel to work at the jail.  The proposal is for four civilian employees and one deputy be added to the department.  Greenwalt has been talking with the County Board about the need for additional staff for the past few weeks.

During an afternoon session the County Board would canvass the votes from the November 2nd city – school election to make the results official.

The Clinton School Board will be meeting in a session this evening at 5:30 at the Administrative Center.

Board members elected at the November 2nd vote will be sworn into office with a re-organization of the board as part of the session.


 

The Clinton City Council has a their regular sessions on Tuesday evening at 5 at City Hall.

During the discussion session the council will hear an update on Air Monitoring and Air Quality from the D-N-R.  The Council will also hear an update from the Neighborhood Improvement Committee and proposed new council wards based on the new census.

The Central DeWitt School Board will be meeting in a regular session on Wednesday November 10th at 6 P-M.  It will also include members elected at the November 2nd being sworn in and a re-organization of the board.
