Long Running Fulton Christmas Day Dinner Cancelled Due To COVID Cases

Work was underway on the 37th Fulton Christmas Dinner when it had to be cancelled.  Organizers say the increasing number of covid cases in the area prompted the cancellation of the event that was being planned for the Fulton Fire Station on Christmas Day.

The planners had already made many preparations and accepting donations for this year’s event.  It has been held for those who want a place to go for Christmas Day Dinner and for delivery to those who cannot get out.  The organizers were anticipating delivering up to 250 meals and over 300 people coming to the meal in person.

Organizers of the Fulton Christmas Day apologize for the inconvenience of the cancellation but it’s being done for the safety and health of everyone.

Last year’s event was also cancelled due to the coronavirus situation in the area.
