Obren, Determan win re-election to Clinton City Council

The unofficial results released by the Clinton County Auditor of Elections in the City/Schoolboard Elections show the re-election of Gregg Obren and Pat Determan to the At-Large Council seats. Obren received 1,156 votes to Conner Galloway’s 647 and Pat Determan received 1,258 votes to Kathryn Wynn Calvin’s 551. Mayor Scott Maddasion was unopposed and received 1,666 votes. Also re-elected in unopposed races were Cody Seely in the 2nd Ward and Rhonda Kearns in the 4th Ward.

In the Clinton School Board Elections there were four candidates for the three available seats. Mike House was the only incumbent and was re-elected with 1,019 votes. Gaining election was Matthew Lorenzen with 1,384 votes and James McDonnell with 996 votes. Sheena James finished fourth with 988 votes.

In the Eastern Iowa Community College Election, Jennifer Hansen was elected to District 5 with 1,168 votes to Richard Phelan’s 767 votes.
