The City of Clinton has declared a Snow Emergency to be in effect from: 9:00 PM Thursday, January 11th until Sunday, January 14th at 11 PM as 5-10 inches of snow is being forecasted.

If vehicles have not been removed from Emergency Snow Routes by 9 PM Thursday, January 11th- the Clinton Police Department will enforce the ticket and/or towing process.

Calendar Parking will be in effect. Please have vehicles moved to the even side of the street by 9:00 AM Friday, January 12th. While calendar parking is in effect residents should park on the side of the street that correlates with the date, park on the even side of the street on an even day and the odd side on an odd day. The time to move vehicles is between 6 AM and 9 AM. Calendar parking will end 72 hours after the snow has stopped.

There is a high potential for Blizzard Like Conditions, if conditions warrant, Public Works will be pulled off the roads with the exception of assisting Public Safety Vehicles.

Please slow down and travel with caution.

Please be aware that all emergency snow routes will be cleared first, before crews begin to clear residential areas. It may be a few days until residential streets and cul-de-sacs are cleared.

Priority 1 – Streets that are hospital and emergency routes, marked snow routes, &

primary highways under City maintenance.
