More Snow and Dangerous Cold Ahead

We continue with the Wind Chill Advisory until 9 this morning — wind chills will drop to as low as 20 to 25 below zero at times.

Beyond that, we’re eyeing more snow and dangerous cold. Snowfall of 1-4″ is generally expected in 2 rounds between tonight-Friday morning. This may bring travel impacts to parts of the area, especially with the 2nd round late Thursday PM-Friday AM as winds look to gust to 35 mph leading to blowing and drifting snow. More dangerous cold follows for the end of the week into the weekend.

As always please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Team NWS Quad Cities
