Stabbing Investigation

On March 18, 2024 at approximately 9:36 A.M., officers from the Clinton Police Department responded to 107 Fayette Street for a report of a disturbance at this residence in which a subject was stabbed. When officers arrived, Nathan Rose, age 35, reported that he was stabbed by another subject. Rose identified the suspect, Tara Seats, as the person who stabbed him in the neck area. Seats left the area on a bike and was found and arrested a short time later. Rose was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.
As a result of this investigation, Tara Seats, age 28, was arrested and charged with Assault — Causing Serious Bodily Injury.

Note: Criminal charges are merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
