The North Bridge, or Highway 136 bridge between Clinton and Fulton, is now open. On October 31, 2025, the bridge officially reopened to traffic. The bridge had been closed since June 9, 2025, for a deck overlay project by the Iowa Department of Transportation. An earlier Iowa DOT update on October 31 had indicated the road would be closed until approximately 4 p.m. that day
