5th Avenue South will experience a partial closure on Thursday, June 4, to allow for preparatory work related to upcoming sewer and water installation.
The roadway will then be fully closed to all traffic on Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5, to complete the installation work.
The roadway will reopen to traffic over the weekend. However, drivers should be aware that additional closures are expected next week as crews return to complete concrete restoration work.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during construction periods and to exercise caution when traveling near the work zone.
