Man Shot in Fulton

FULTON, Ill. A man was shot two times Monday night in Fulton, according to the Fulton Police Department.

Police said they were called to 12th Avenue and 9th Street for a shooting.

When they got on scene, they found a man in a vehicle that had been shot twice.

Police reported the man was taken to MercyOne in Clinton, Iowa, and then airlifted to Iowa City for more treatment. Police said the man was stable, but his condition is unknown.

Police said they believe this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat.
