Masks Required in Clinton County Buildings Starting July 21due to COVID-19 Concerns

The Clinton County Board of Supervisors took action Monday to require face masks or face shields to be worn in all County buildings starting Tuesday, July 21.

The decision to require the face coverings was made after the Supervisors reviewed the increase in positive COVID-19 cases in Clinton County during the last three weeks.

The Supervisors unanimously voted that until further notice the public, older than 2-years-old, will be required to wear a face mask or face shield in County buildings; employees will wear masks or face shields in common areas of the building or if they cannot maintain six-feet apart while working.

Masks will be available to the public for the first week of the order for those who do not have one while entering the building. Remote options to conduct business with the County will be offered for those who do not have a mask to wear into the buildings.
