Governmental Meetings This Week

There are some regular sessions and some special sessions this week for governmental bodies.

The Clinton County Board has a regular session this morning.  The Supervisors meet at 9:15.

There is limited public availability and the meeting is available on-line for people who want to monitor and participate in the meeting.  Check the agenda at the county web page for information.  There is a link to the agenda in the governmental meeting story at our web page.

There is a special meeting of the Camanche School Board this evening.  At their previous meeting the school board members decided they wanted weekly meetings for updates n the return to start school planning.  The session is at 5:30 and is available online.

The Fulton City Council has a regular session this evening (Monday).  Among the business items listed on the agenda is a resignation letter from the City Administrator.

The Riverbend School Board has a special session on Thursday.  The 6:30 meeting will be held at the Fulton High School Conference room.

The board will hear from the Superintendent about the fall learning plan and related policies plus a budget update.  The board will also consider amending the school calendar and supporting the transition to school plan for the coming school year.  An initial proposal at the district website has an early plan to have student split into two groups attending a Tuesday-Thursday or Wednesday-Friday schedule and on-line when not in class.  The Mondays would be staff planning days.  The state goal is have all students in class September 8th.
