Here’s some of the latest storm related items concerning special services

The mobile community resource center at Clinton Park (across from Central Fire Station, 344 3rd Avenue South) will be open from 8AM until 2PM on Saturday, August 15, 2020 and from 8AM until 2PM on Sunday, August 16, 2020.

The center will continue to provide electrical outlets, portable power for medical equipment and cellular recharging as well as limited free ice for essential medical and perishable needs (bring your own bag/cooler). Prepackaged meals will be available for those most in need on Saturday, August 15, 2020 and on Sunday, August 16, 2020, until the meals run out.


The City understands many residents may need to dispose of their refrigerated and freezer items and may not have the room to do so in their gray trash bin.

Residents may drop off perishable goods for disposal at the Ericksen Community Center east parking lot on Monday, August 17, 2020, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 and Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the following times:

8AM-11AM and

12:30PM – 3:30PM


In order to provide swift and efficient removal of tree debris that is placed by the curb, the City will be instituting calendar parking beginning on August 17, 2020.

Starting on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 6:00 a.m., residents are to park on the odd side of the street. Starting on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 6:00 a.m., residents are to park on the even side of the street. Parking will alternate on a weekly basis, each Monday at 6:00 a.m., during the cleanup effort.


Clinton County residents may bring in brush from 7:30 AM to 6  PM on Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th, WEATHER PERMITTING.

For regular business – the normal hours for trash disposal on Saturday from will be 7:30 AM to Noon. After Noon on Saturday, NO GARBAGE TRANSACTIONS WILL TAKE PLACE for the rest of the weekend.
