As the school year concludes on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the MTA would like to remind all riders that starting tomorrow, Thursday, June 5, 2025, the Hill Line will no longer operate on its school-year schedule.
This change marks the beginning of the MTA’s Summer Hours, which will be in effect from June 5, 2025 through August 22, 2025. The following schedule adjustments will apply:
Discontinued Service Times (Effective June 5, 2025):
Hill Line: No service at 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:30 AM
Branch Line: No service at 8:00 AM
Hill Line (Afternoon): No service at 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM
Branch Line (Afternoon): No service at 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM
Summer Schedule Overview:
Branch Line:
Starts at 6:00 AM
Runs every 30 minutes until 7:30 AM
Then runs hourly on the half hour (:30) until 4:30 PM
Resumes every 30 minutes after 4:30 PM
Hill Line:
Starts at 8:00 AM
Runs hourly on the hour (:00) until 4:00 PM
