Iowa American Water will continue water main replacement work as part of the Bluff Boulevard Project, with the next phase directly impacting traffic access to Bluff Elementary School.
Traffic Changes Effective November 11–25:
Southbound traffic from Bluff Boulevard onto South 14th Street will be prohibited during construction.
Parents and guardians must approach Bluff Elementary from the south on South 14th Street for student drop-off and pick-up.
The north entrance to the school will remain open, and traffic will continue to cycle through the parking lot as usual.
There will be no access to the school from Bluff Boulevard during this phase of construction.
This temporary traffic change is necessary to support critical infrastructure improvements and ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community.
