The City of Clinton announces that work will resume on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to complete the remaining bridge repairs on the 2nd Avenue South bridge, located approximately 2.3 miles west of Mill Creek Parkway. The remainder of the project is expected to last approximately three weeks, weather permitting.
During this period, access to Branden Hills 2, Randy Drive, and 2nd Avenue South will only be available from the west on 2nd Avenue South. Detour Signs will be posted around the construction utilizing 400th Avenue, 220th Street and 425th Avenue. Drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra travel time.
