Police update on a search you may have seen today

Two vehicles were reported stolen in Clinton overnight. At approximately 8:30 a.m. on 10-31-14 a citizen reported seeing one of the stolen vehicles being operated and reported it to police. Suspects fled on foot from the area of the 1500 block North 8th Street. Police searched the area south and west attempting to locate the suspects. No one has been arrested at this time. The case remains under investigation by the Clinton Police Department. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Clinton Police Department at 563 243-1458.
